Yes. In this case, it is very important that participants let us know via e-mail, fax or preferably through the registration web page, the changes or modifications involved, including flight schedules, lodging preference and any other information requested.

The Superior Audit Office of Mexico has implemented a great logistic effort and has established a close communication with the main and alternative hotels to guarantee the participants the best stay and security during the event. Therefore, the Superior Audit Office of Mexico can not take responsibility if participants lodge in different hotels.

In compliance with the 4th Strategic Goal, second strategy clause 2.a of the 2005 – 2010 INTOSAI Strategic Plan, the Superior Audit Office of Mexico will charge an amount equivalent to 290 euros per delegate, and 330 euros per accompanying person.

However, a number of participants will be allowed without any cost, according to the following outlines approved in the INTOSAI 54th Governing Board Meeting:

a) Each member SAI may register, free of charge, three delegates to the Congress;
b) SAIs chairing Committees, Subcommittees, Working Groups and Task Forces may register an extra delegate for each of these, free of charge;
c) The Chair of the INTOSAI Governing Board and the General Secretariat may register up to five delegates free of charge;
d) For delegations and accompanying persons exceeding that number, an additional fee shall be paid in order to cover costs of goods and services (EUR 290 per delegate and EUR 330 per accompanying person).
e) Associate members of INTOSAI and organizations sending observers will be able to register one delegate free of charge and will pay the corresponding fee for every additional delegate and accompanying person (EUR 290 per delegate and EUR 330 per accompanying person).

No. The Superior Audit Office of Mexico has no legal faculties to negotiate any visiting visa for entering the country. Each participant will have to contact his/her embassy to perform the necessary procedures and fulfill their legal entry to Mexico.

Nevertheless, the Superior Audit Office of Mexico can issue an invitation, upon request, in the XIX INCOSAI. This invitation will express the reasons for which the participant will visit Mexico, and the period of the Congress.

The official INTOSAI languages are: German, Arabic, Spanish, French and English.

The Superior Audit Office of Mexico will provide simultaneous interpretation services in the five official languages for the Congress’ plenary sessions and for the theme discussion sessions agreed with the INTOSAI General Secretary.

The Superior Audit Office of Mexico (SAO) will disseminate the Principal and Discussion Papers already translated into the five official languages. Official documents agreed with the General Secretary will be translated as well.

With regard to the Country Papers, the SAO has the responsibility of making them available in the official language that the theme officers agreed to use as working language (English).

The SAO will also provide the translation services for those official documents stemming from the Congress sessions in the five languages.

Finally, once the event is over the SAO will send the Congress Proceedings to the INTOSAI community in the respective official languages.

Translation for any report from the Committees, Working Groups and Task Forces are responsibility of their own chairs.
